Promoting financial inclusion – Microfinance enables micro-entrepreneurs business owners to gain long-term access to financial services, allowing them to build a livelihood and, in turn, a future with good prospects. Funds are provided in the form of micro-loans by microfinance institutions (MFIs) to people who are excluded from the traditional financial sector. A rigorous on-site assessment of microfinance institutions is intended to ensure that social objectives and targets are met on a sustainable basis.

Socially-focused investments – The fund invests primarily in fixed-income securities issued by carefully selected microfinance institutions in developing countries. Microcredits enable many people to access financing options that are often unavailable through traditional financial institutions. They can support people to set up or expand their business activities.

Please note that investing in securities also involves risks besides the opportunities described.
